RECEIVING YOUR PURCHASE
1. Inspect goods upon delivery
Please check your items as soon as they arrive. If anything’s damaged or defective, or we sent you the wrong item, let us know within 48 hours so we can sort it out and make things right for you. Please include pictures of the damage and ensure you keep the original packaging. Notify us by emailing info@furniturebydesign.nz with the subject line "damages".
We will guide you through the process and arrange for the product to be returned and replaced.
2. Furniture 7-Day Happiness Guarantee
We want you to be happy with your purchase and understand that sometimes things don't work out once you get them home. We have a 7-Day Happiness Guarantee return policy, which means you have seven days after receiving your item to request a return. Please note this ONLY applies to furniture purchases.
How to initiate
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, contact us at info@furniturebydesign.nz within seven days of receipt of goods using the subject line "returns". Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Salamander Enterprises 416 Maidstone Terrace, Maidstone, Upper Hutt, 5018
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items returned to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Please note we cannot accept returns if the product is not packaged in its original packaging.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund has been approved. Please note that unless the product was damaged or defective or the wrong item was received, shipping costs will be deducted. You’ll be automatically refunded using your original payment method within ten business days if approved. Please remember it can take time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
