Furniture Shipping

Free furniture shipping on orders over $2,000.

For furniture orders under $2,000:

Wellington Region: $100
North Island: $200
South Island: $300

A $75 surcharge may apply for rural or remote deliveries.

If you’re unsure whether your address is rural or remote, please contact us at info@furniturebydesign.nz before placing your order.

We reserve the right to decline delivery to locations where shipping is not feasible.

Furniture Delivery Times

In-stock furniture orders are usually processed and dispatched within approximately 2 working days.

Estimated delivery time within New Zealand is 2–10 working days, depending on your location and courier/freight schedules.

For pre-order items, we’ll email you with the estimated arrival and delivery timeframe.

Need something urgently? Contact us before ordering and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

Homeware Shipping

Homeware shipping rates:

North Island: $8
South Island: $12

A rural or remote delivery surcharge may apply.

Please note, framed artwork is not available for shipping.

Homeware Delivery Times

In-stock homeware orders are usually processed and dispatched within approximately 2 working days.

Estimated delivery times:

Wellington Region: 1–2 working days
Outside Wellington: 2–3 working days

Delivery times may vary depending on courier workloads.

Delivery Requirements

All deliveries require a signature on receipt.

Please provide a physical address where someone can sign for your order between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

We cannot deliver to PO Boxes.

Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive tracking details where available.

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at info@furniturebydesign.nz within 2 days and refer to our Returns Policy.

Click & Collect — Wellington Store

Click & Collect orders from our Wellington store are usually ready within 1–3 working days.

We’ll contact you when your order is ready for collection. Please collect your order within 7 days.

If you want to order both furniture and homeware for Click & Collect, please place these as separate orders.

Furniture Click & Collect — Nationwide Stockists

Furniture Click & Collect orders from selected stockists are usually ready within 2–10 working days for in-stock items. For preordered items, we will give you an estimate of its arrival. Homewares are not available for Click & Collect from nationwide stockists.

You’ll be notified when your order is ready for pickup. Please collect your order within 7 days.

Rug Shipping

Weave Rugs

NZ-wide flat rate: $50, excluding rural delivery

Weave rugs are usually delivered within 2 weeks of purchase.

If you live rurally, please contact us for a shipping quote before ordering.

Linie Design Rugs

Linie Design rugs follow our furniture shipping rates:
